He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Smetzer (Hannah) and Francis S. Smetzer; and his son Kenneth Ray. He is survived by: his wife Donna Jean Parcell; his daughters, Bonnie Smetzer (Glenn) and Connie Murtaugh (Mike); and his daughter-in-law Marie Smetzer. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
