He was predeceased by: his son Robert Herald; and his siblings, Ken, Marcella, Russel, Carl, Mabel and Willis.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Herald (Deanne), Larry Herald (Janis) of Wooster and Jane Herald of Wooster; his grandchildren, Justin (Kim), Jaclyn, Sarah (Roy), Matthew, Kristen (Jim), Stacy (Marius) and Steven (Amanda); and his great grandchildren, Jaice, Asher, Donovan, Graysen, Liam, Sienna and Ari.
