He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry P. Zerrer and Beatrice Forbes Zerrer; his sisters, Marge Parcell and Mary Lou Buchholz; his daughter-in-law Dawn Marie Zerrer; and his granddaughter Heather Kelmell.
He is survived by: his wife Beulah E. Sparr; and his sons, Don Zerrer (Karen Hubbarth) of Port Huron, MI, Ron Zerrer (Cheri) of Springfield, John Zerrer (Nancy) of Galax, VA, Bob Zerrer (Lee) of Wooster and Brian Zerrer (Paula Ryan) of Wooster.
