He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Kain and Nita Brant Kain; his brother Mark Kain; and his niece Crystal Kain. He is survived by: his wife Susan Harvey; his children, Linda Walker (Lonnie) of Creston, Martha Phillips (Brandon) of Wooster, Brian Kain (Crystal Maniaci) of Orrville, Todd Shellhorn (Rachel Bash) of Wooster, Adam Shellhorn of Wooster, Natashia Woodrum of Bethesda, Justin Kain of Orrville, John Mottern (Brittany) of Wooster, Tiffany Walker (Davey) of Smithville and Shelby Kain of Wooster; his sister Krista "Fats" Kain of Orrville; and his close friends, Kirk Mottern of Wooster, Chris Asbury of Wooster and Beth Duncan of Wooster. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
The family is asking all visitors to wear masks due to Covid-19.
