He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Daniels and Flora Smith Daniels; and his siblings, Mary Arnold, Ben Daniels, Jr. and Bob Daniels.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie L. Beckler; his son Trent Daniels (Betsy) of Galion; his grandchildren, Gage and Skylar Daniels; and his pets, Cricket and Roxy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
