With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marvin Slabaugh of Wooster, Ohio, born in Somerset, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 26, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J. and Mary O. Slabaugh (Tice); his siblings, Martha Slabaugh and Raymond Slabaugh (Audrey); and his brother-in-law Don Bratschie.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Scherer; his children, Beverly Wengerd of Apple Creek, Annette Schaffter of Wooster and Duane Slabaugh (Cathleen) of Stockbridge, GA; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Anderson (Cody), Ashley Baxter (Tae), Dekota Wengerd, Lindsey Johnson (Tyler), Tyler Slabaugh (Sara), Morgan Schaffter, Jasmine, Jacob, Raven and Robbie Wengerd; his stepgrandsons, Adam Wengerd and Noah Wengerd (Robin); his great grandchildren, Kylie, Cheyenne Anderson, Angelica, Maverick Johnson, Sol Baxter and Mariana Slabaugh; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Brody, Isaac, Paige, Peyton, Willow Wengerd, Savannah Johnson and Allison Ramirez; and his siblings, Bertha Slabaugh of Orient, OH, William Slabaugh (Miriam) of Carson City, NV and Miriam Bratschie of Grove City, OH. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
