He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Hue and Harriet Connor Ray; his wife Leah Patrick; and his siblings, Rosalene Wallace, Mary D. Ray, Brenda Durden, Cheryl Lynn Ray, Eddie Ray, Jr. and Robert Earl Ray.
He is survived by: his children, Dontia Ray of Columbus, Deonne Ray of Wooster, Teneah Chambers of Columbus, Nayisa Patton of Wooster, Peggy White of Akron, Toney Owens of Lakeville and Franklin Owens of Wooster; his girlfriend Carolyn Cook of Wooster; and his sisters, Carolyn Ray of Wooster and Maggie Jo Scrutchions of Detroit, MI. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
