He was predeceased by: his parents, Ercel Gamertsfelder and Esther Martin Gamertsfelder; his stepfather Zolten Demjen; and his siblings, Wanda Jean Messner, Eunice Brown and Don Gamertsfelder.
He is survived by: his wife Vera Morrison; his children, Kim Gillman (Mitch) of Wooster and Kelli Schaffran (David) of Strongsville; his grandchildren, Jessica Gillman, Brandon Gillman, Gabriella Schaffran, Courtney Schaffran and Sidney Schaffran; his great grandchild Addilyn Gillman; and his brother Allen Gamertsfelder of Hartville.
