He was predeceased by: his parents, Doras Maxwell and Fern Humrichouser Maxwell; his wife Marita M. Swysgood; and his pet Tasha. He is survived by: his daughters, Liz Miller (Richard) of Wooster and Cheryl Tieche of Aurora, OH; his sister Judith K. Ratzel of Wooster; his grandchildren, Richard Miller, Jr., Michael Miller, Jennifer Miller, Deana Frederick and Emily Tieche; and his cousin William Hixon of Shreve. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice LifeCare, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
