He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Wellert and Lucy Wellert; his brother Robert L. Wellert; and his daughter-in-law Laurie J. Wellert (Dudte). He is survived by: his wife Marian M. Wellert; and his children, Kim R. Wellert (Sherri), Vicki L. Welch (Michael), Craig R. Wellert (Carrie), Debora R. Schaefer and Holly R. Hottel (Doug). He is also survived by 22 Grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Matteson Funeral Home (40 Congress Rd, West Salem, OH 44287).
