He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lillian Howell (Robinson) and Joseph Howell Sr.; his daughter Angela Howell (Chuckie Adams) of Wooster, Ohio; his grandchildren, Mercedes White (Tim) of West Salem, Trevor Howell of Wooster and Wyatt Adams of Wooster; his great grandchildren, Liliana Howell and Carson White of West Salem; his sister Vickie Rouse (Donnie) of Wooster; his close friends, Marcia Howell of Wooster, Chaney of Wooster, Betty Persinger of Wooster, Karen Ingold of Wooster and Sharon Shane of Wooster; his son Joseph William Howell III; his siblings, Shirley French, Larry Pyle and Richard Howell; and his close friend Shirley Whipkey. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

Family suggests memorial contributions be made to Alexander Funeral Home to help defray cost.
