He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hartmann and Catherine Moreland Hartmann; his son Mark Hartmann; and his brother David Hartmann. He is survived by: his children, Marines, Michael Hartmann (Renee), James Hartmann (Elise), Mary Hartmann (Stephanie), John Hartmann (Teri) and Joseph Hartmann; his grandchildren, Michael, Bailey, Jessica, Elijah, Tasha, Connor and Kelton; and his brother Edward Hartmann (Kelly). He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
