It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerome Robert Black (Wooster, Ohio), born in Corsica, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 17, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Helen Black Rhodes; his wife Mary Irene Black (Caynor Armstrong); his children, R. J. Black (Marty) of Wooster, Sheryl Black (Peter Zajaczkowski) of Greenville, SC and Robert Black (Lisa) of Wooster; his stepchildren, Helen Dusschee (Dan), Phyllis Brodie (Glenn) of Bluffton, SC and Warren Armstrong Jr. (Ruthe) of Fresno, CA.; and his grandchildren, Jared Black, Claire Zajaczkowski (Sam Flynn), Alex Black, Taylor Black, Dustin Dusschee (Katie), Courtney Dusschee (Evan Rugland), McKenzie Cribbs (Ross), Matthew Brodie (Jessica), Stephen Brodie (Brandy), Travis Brodie, Warren Armstrong III and Oliver Armstrong.

The family wishes to thank Brenda and Jeff Troyer, gracious neighbors who helped Robert and Mary, especially during the Covid epidemic.
