He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Richard and Florence Marie Miller (Stryker); his son Tom Miller; and his sister Dorothy Varnes (Ray). He is survived by: his wife Mary Miller; his children, Steve Miller (Judy) of Wooster, Jerry Miller (Jeannette) of Wooster, June Johnson of Wooster, Donny Schmucker (Katherine) of Burbank and Dorothy Sorrells (David) of Wooster; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Miller of Wooster; and his siblings, Bill Miller (Judy) of Wooster and Jean Boley (Dean) of Shreve. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the family requests that everyone wear a mask.
