He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Speicher and Dorothy Billiar Speicher; and his siblings, Evelyn Speicher, Wanda Jolliff, William Speicher and Margaret "Peggy" Achamire.
He is survived by: his wife Sara Gilt; his children, Aimee Skaggs (Eric), Jamie Speicher (Becky), Jason Speicher (Crystal) and Michelle Fisher; his grandchildren, Jonah Skaggs (Alexandra), Daniel Skaggs (Kia), Lindsey Skaggs, Garrett Speicher, Ian Speicher (Torrie), Cayden Speicher, Brady Speicher, Blake Speicher, Morgan Speicher, Nicholas Speicher, Westin Speicher, Lilly Crist, Shea Fisher, Kyle Fisher, Elizabeth Fisher, Emma Fisher and David Wilke; and his sister Colleen Martin of Charlotte, NC.. He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.
