He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton A. Bach and Jane Elizabeth Bach (Keim); and his sister Beverly "Susie" Holley. He is survived by: his sister Becky Horst (Gordon); his nieces, Kelly Harrington (Bill), Pamela Mitterling (Terin), Kim Weaver and Kerri Kostohryz (Greg); and his pet Pookie. He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews.
