She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Margaret Schwartz and Francis William Schwartz; her husband Henry E. Santangelo; and her sisters, Mary Lou McClelland, Kathy Bartholomew, Pauline Santangelo and Rita Young. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions be directed to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
