It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harley Basil Dawson of Wooster, Ohio, born in Clay, West Virginia, who passed away on June 23, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Dawson and Goldie Dawson (Beckett); his granddaughter Harli Cooper; and his siblings, Lyman, Norval "Toad", Bill, Richard and Linda Justice.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his children, Patricia Burman (Mike) of Florida, Michael Dawson (Noreen) of Shreve, Darrell Lewis of Orrville, David Lewis (Cecilia) of South Carolina, Robert Lewis (Stephanie) of Florida, Susan Elser (Jim) of Wooster, Ronnie Rastetter (Kelly) of Wooster and Sheryl Cooper (Rudy) of Wooster; and his siblings, Elsie Fishburn, Dennis Dawson (Jeanette), George Dawson (Barbara), Cecil Dawson (Carol), Lloyd Dawson (Diane), Betty Summers, Bonnie Kurzen (Jerry) and Barbara Miller (John).
