George Robert Spencer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Robert Spencer of Wooster, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 14, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Heber W. Spencer and Mary Spencer (Kerr); his wife Marilyn M. Green; his son-in-law Greg Becker; and his siblings, Dorothy Leeper, Florence Spencer, Heber K. Spencer, Harry Spencer, Willis Spencer and Margaret Baer.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Becker of Dalton and Rick Spencer of Alexandria, VA; his granddaughters, Katelyn (Nate Shultz) and Kelsey (Amruth Bahadursha); and also, Ainsley Grace and Nora Scout Shultz.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (621 College Ave, Wooster, OH 44691). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Eastside Cemetery.
