He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Carnahan and Harriet Evans Carnahan; his son Gary W. Carnahan; and his siblings, John A. Carnahan and Linda Vanover.
He is survived by: his daughter Mona Lisa Carnahan of Kentucky; his grandsons, Timmy Michael and Bradley; his great grandchild Presley; and his sister Sherry Brooks of Wooster. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
