It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary J. Nelson of Wooster, Ohio, born in Dennison, Ohio, who passed away on July 31, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Mary Lucille Nelson (Brady); his sister Karen Nelson; his brother-in-law Dave Altier; and his grandson John Moore.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Ellwood (Randy), Judy Booth (Billy Tyler), Patti Older (Bill) and Greg Nelson (Toni); his grandson Cory; his sisters, Carol Anderson (John) and Ann Altier; and his brother-in-law Jim West (Tena). He is also survived by partner; and 22 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
