It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Galen Moomaw of Wooster, Ohio, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Evie Eberly. He is survived by: his children, Jacqui Hohulin (Steve) of Arlington, TX, Tim Moomaw (Carol) of Wooster and Randy Moomaw (Jackie) of Wooster; his grandchildren, Jill Moomaw (Nicole), Holly Lewis (David), Emily Weyant (Victor), Taylor Hohulin (Lindsey), Nathan Hohulin, Erin Carbajal (Luis), Kyle Moomaw (Mariah) and Tyler Moomaw (Katie); and his sister Marjorie Buriff (Chuck) of Wooster. He is also survived by his 10 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Grace Church (4599 Burbank Rd, Wooster, OH 44691). Visitation was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
