Elmer O. Hawthorne Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elmer O. Hawthorne of Wooster, Ohio, born in Dover, Ohio, who passed away on June 11, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Hawthorne and Oda Snyder Hawthorne; and his siblings, Beverly Zifer, Emma Nichols, Emma Jean, Janice Hawthorne, Nelson, Bill, Dave, Larry and Paul Hawthorne.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Troyer; his children, Wendy Nicholas (Tim) of North Canton, Alicia Hawthorne (Brian Booms) of Fairlawn and Shane Hawthorne (Cheri) of Canton; his grandchildren, Alan Nicholas, Sarah Nicholas (Julian Bass-Preceded), Nathan Nicholas (Angelina Seamann), Elizabeth Nicholas, Reese Hawthorne (Hannah), Breanne Detwiler (Joe), Sawyer Hawthorne, Audrey Hawthorne, Tucker Hawthorne and Mary Kate Hawthorne; his great grandchildren, Josiah Hawthorne and Lili Detwiler; and his siblings, Marilyn Hutson of Portland, OR and Donald "Pete" Hawthorne of New Philadelphia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
