He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Steele and Catherine E. Steele (Henry); his brother Larry Steele; his brother-in-law Lester Walker; and his nephew Scott Tinsler.
He is survived by: his daughter Tiffany Porter (James) of Wooster, OH.; his grandchildren, C. J. Porter and Spencer Porter; his siblings, Alan Steele (Myrt) of Livingston, TN. and Marla Walker (W. Va) of Parkersburg; and his sister-in-law Norma Steele of Old Hickory, TN.. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
