He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd R. Mong and Alma Mong (Miller); and his brothers, Gene and Russell. He is survived by: his wife Carol James; his children, Cynthia Mong of Strongsville and Jeffrey Mong (Christina) of Wooster; and his siblings, Lois Scanlan, Ellen Madigan, Doris Kahl and Harold Mong (Michelle).
