He was predeceased by: his father Marvin Boen; his parents-in-law, Lester Dresch and Lenore Steege Dresch; and his siblings-in-law, Stephen Dresch and Sue Dresch.
He is survived by: his wife Elsa Ruth; his daughter Jean Lenore Roberts (Jarad); his granddaughters, Jocelyn LuAnn of Wooster and Josie Boen Roberts of Wooster; his mother Jean Boen of Dayton; his siblings, Dan Boen (Jennifer) of Fort Wayne, IN, Diane Schwanke (Randy) of Kettering and Donna Boen of Oxford; and his siblings-in-law, Michael Dresch of Cincinnati and Linda Dresch of Hancock, MI. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
