He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Nussbaum and Arlene Nussbaum (Falb); and his siblings, Betty Hochstetler, Doris Stutzman and Kenneth Nussbaum.

He is survived by: his wife Lula Jane Stutzman; his brothers, Earl and Gordon Nussbaum; and his grandchildren, Jason Nussbaum (Jamie), Ryan Nussbaum (Allison), Jessi Wells (Brian), Amanda Kerstetter (Sam), Jake Bohrer (Lindsey) and Amanda Moore (Jeremy).
