Bernadete L. Riffle Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernadete L. Riffle of Woodville, Ohio, who passed away on December 18, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Bernadete departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Bernadete. Though Bernadete may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo F. Peiffer and Pearl Peiffer (Decker); and her husband Norman James Riffle Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Norman Riffle Jr. (Eleanor) of Millbury, John Riffle of Mississippi, Julie Leiter (Gary) of Genoa and Joe Riffle (Marissa) of Woodville; and her siblings, George Peiffer, Bill Peiffer and Barb Fowler (Doug) of Genoa. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to: Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church or The Cherry Street Mission.
