He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward and Freda Viola McCammon Jones; his significant other Sue Hines; his siblings, Rozetta Kinney (Vernon) and John Jones; his stepbrothers, Bob, Chuck and Bernard Jones; and his siblings-in-law, Doris Jones, Karen Jones and William "Doc" Kahrig.
He is survived by: his children, Jody Smith (Kirby) of Sardis, Stacy Pickenpaugh (Kelly) of Woodsfield, Tiffany Jones of Cadiz, Ohio, Jay Jones of Massillon and Richard Michael Jones of Canton, Ohio; his siblings, Linda Smith (Bud) of Woodsfield, Lois Kirkbride (Marvin) of Woodsfield, Kathy Kahrig of Lewisville, Ohio, Jim Jones of Jerusalem, Jerry Jones of Woodsfield and Joe Jones (Kim) of Barnesville, Ohio; and his pet Dexter. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
