He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Kamp and Ruby Shaffer Kamp; his former wife Jane Feldner Kamp; his wife Darlene Gray Kamp; his daughter Dorothy Geyer; and his brothers, David M. Kamp and Ned A. Kamp.

He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Kamp of Woodsfield and Caroline Howard (Byrd) of Somerset; his son-in-law Andy Geyer of Norwich; his brother John P. Kamp (Elizabeth) of New Holland; his grandchildren, Janie E. Geyer and Ben Geyer (Megan); his great grandchildren, Rex, Dori, Vinny Geyer and Nile; and also, Luke, Isaac, Abby, Katie, Robbie and Laura Jo.
