We bid farewell to Mildred (Millie) Mozena of Woodsfield, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 17, 2025 at the age of 82. Mildred touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar H. Smothers and Loretta C. Stecklein Smothers; her foster parents, Edward Thompson and Fern Thompson of Darlington, WI.; her husband Victor "Snooks" Mozena; her son Michael; her brother Donald Smothers; her half-brother Louis Smothers; and her foster brothers, Eugene Thompson and Leon Thompson.
She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Christman; her grandchildren, Chloe, Samuel (Skyla) and Katie; and her great grandchildren, Kasen, Raelyn, Sydnee, Jackson, Kaleea and Kamiya.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. John United Church of Christ (51736 German Ridge Rd, Powhatan Point, OH 43942).
