He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles McKelvey and Helen Winkler McKelvey; and his siblings, Butch McKelvey, Donald "Shylac" McKelvey, Jeff McKelvey, Iva Jeffers (Bill) and Norma Miller (Harry).
He is survived by: his wife Karen Clegg McKelvey; his children, Brenda Roberts (Jim) and Michael McKelvey; his grandchildren, Justin Roberts (Kim), Chelsie Brown (Tucker) and Gavin McKelvey; his great grandchildren, Jase, Karson Roberts and Baren Brown; his siblings, Jimmy McKelvey (Debbie), Doug McKelvey, Chuckie McKelvey, Ruthie Jones (Paul), Susie Keen (Jack), Janet Kress and Sandy Ruckman; and his sister-in-law Linda McKelvey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bauer Turner Funeral Home (100 S Paul St, Woodsfield, OH 43793). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
