He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dierkes and Grace Lallathin Dierkes; and his brothers, Gary "Joe" Dierkes and Dennis "Bo" Dierkes. He is survived by: his wife Julia Ann Potts Dierkes; his children, Troy Dierkes and Jody Dierkes; and his sister Cheryl Dierkes Dennison. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
