He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Rose and Gladys Gardner Crum; his stepfather Woodrow Crum; his sister Nila Hentsch; his grandson Eric Rose; and his nephew Philip Palmer.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Kinney Rose; his sons, Brian Rose (Carla) of Woodsfield, Terry Rose (Juanita) of Woodsfield and Kevin Rose (Beth) of Graysville, Ohio; and his siblings, Pat Palmer (George) of Waverly, Ruth Gates of Canton, Ohio, Martin Crum of Springfield and Alan Rose of California. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
