He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Oran Nichols and Emerson "Bus" McCurdy; and his uncle Jerry McCurdy. He is survived by: his father Jerry Nichols of Woodsfield; his sister Angela Nichols of Woodsfield; his grandmothers, Mavis Young of Woodsfield and Nora Nichols of Hannibal; his aunts, Lynn McCurdy, Molly McCurdy Snoke and Brenda Nichols Tustin; his uncle Carson McCurdy; and his nephew Jeremy Tustin.
