We bid farewell to David W. Landefeld Jr. of Woodsfield, Ohio, born in Barnesville, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 21, 2024 at the age of 51. David touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his father David W. Landefeld; his uncles, Darrell Landefeld, Dallas Colvin (Dorothy), Jack Colvin, Fred Colvin (Bernice) and James Lattimore; his grandparents, Lester, Gladys Landefeld, Mitch and Florence Colvin; and his mother-in-law Joyce Stimpert.
He is survived by: his mother Joyce Colvin Landefeld; his wife Jani Dillon Landefeld; his children, Dustin of Woodsfield, Ohio, Mason Landefeld of Woodsfield, Ohio, Emma of Woodsfield, Ohio and Ethan Wheeler of Woodsfield, Ohio; his brother Darin Landefeld (Misty) of Woodsfield, Ohio; his nieces and nephews, Madison Morisco (Joe), Brooke Frye, Dalton Landefeld and Simon Frye; his aunts, Patricia Antonik (Mike), Beverly Landefeld, Marlene Lattimore and Linda Schenk (Bob); his uncle Duane Landefeld (Barbara); his father-in-law Barney Dillon; and his sister-in-law Jodi Frye (Doug).
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Woodsfield Church of Christ (860 Lewisville Rd, Woodsfield, OH 43793). A masonic service was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
