He is survived by: his wife Hattie Hines Byers; his daughter Camala Nye (Rick) of Hudson; his grandchildren, Madison, Spenser and Lincoln; his son Eric Byers (Michele) of Palm City; and his grandchildren, Taylor, J. R. and Brandon.
