It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Mahoney (Woodsfield, Ohio), born in Lewisville, Ohio, who passed away on March 24, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Stimpert and Hazel Schultheiz Stimpert; her husband Charles Mahoney; her son John Mahoney; her brothers, William, Richard and Herman Stimpert Jr.; and her sons-in-law, Danny Luyster and Bob Pierce.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Pierce of Salesville, Deb Scott of Woodsfield, Brenda Patterson (Rick) of Spring Hill, Kris Delong (Charles) of Woodsfield, Ohio, Pat Mahoney and Neal Mahoney (Lori) of Woodsfield, Ohio. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
