She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvis Gillman and Ella Heath Gillman; and her husband Sonny Cecil. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth, Jennifer, Theresa and Dean; and her grandchildren, Jessica, Emily, Danielle, Trey, Donny and Zack.
In lieu of flowers, Barbara requested that donations be made to any "No Kill" animal shelter.
