He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Schaefer and Mary Glaub Schaefer; and his brother Robert Schaefer. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine "Jeri" Lemsky Schaefer; his children, William Schaefer (Michelle) of Wintersville, Stephen Schaefer (Becky) of Wintersville and Lorie Ann Sullivan (David) of Steubenville; his brother Stephen Schaefer (Susie) of Carmel, IN; and his grandchildren, Lauren, Brendan, Matthew, Jonathan Schaefer, Nicole and Sarah Sullivan.
