He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Young and Sarah Kempton Young; his wife Marilyn Jean Higgins Young; and his siblings, Delpha Jean Deavers, Ralph Melvin, Lloyd Lee and Charles William Young.
He is survived by : his sons, Paul Allan (Tammy), Gregg (Deborah) and Scott K. Young; his brothers, Terry L. (Carol) and Martin Young; his grandchildren, Marysa, Justin Young, Suzanne Farhan, Shannon Ives and Megan Flashing; and his great grandchildren, Harper, Landry, Holland, Aurora, Teyla, Nicholas, Elijah, Mayzi and Owenn.
