He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Simpson and Evelyn Adams Simpson; his daughter-in-law Candace Simpson; and his sister Karen Howell. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne C. Holzopfel Simpson; his children, Robert of Mingo Junction and Tracy of Wintersville; his siblings, David of Martins Ferry and Sandra Hostetler of Mt. Pleasant; his granddaughters, Kalynne Simpson and Krysten Karnich (Shawn); his great grandchild Brayden Leroy; and his close friends, Gerald and Linda Vogt of Mingo Junction. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
