He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Griffith and Martha Kleineke (George); his grandparents, Mazella and James George; and his stepfather Henry Kleineke.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis George (Wilsac); his daughter Tanya Ekoniak (Greg); his grandchildren, Chaz and Laci Ekoniak; his sisters, Karen Kleineke McClain and Janet DiNofrio (John); his stepsister Jane Griffith Leach; and his stepmother Isabelle Griffith.
