He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Carpenter and Effie Carpenter. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Carpenter (Geroch); his daughter Christine Exterovich (Sean) of Steubenville; and his stepdaughters, Rebecca Campbell (Scott) of Wintersville, Susan Overheu of Germany and Cindy Hockenberry of California. He is also survived by four grandsons, two grand daughters, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
