He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Bucy and Shirley Cooper Bucy. He is survived by: his wife Renee L. Tyrpin Bucy; his sisters, Lynn Taliani (Keith) and Jody Bucy; his nephews, Jason Taliani (Jackie) and Todd Taliani (Brandi); his parents-in-law, Jerry (Charlene Tyrpin) and Barbara; and his caregiver Stacy Bowman. He is also survived by five great nieces & nephews.
