He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe George and Jessie Pearl Calabrese (Mellott); his former wife Marla Jean Calabrese; and his brothers, Leo and Russell Lee.

He is survived by: his friend Robert "Goldie" Golden; his wife Carol J. Calabrese (Noble); his children, Pamela France (John) and Rick Calabrese (Patty); his sister Blanche Williams (Larry); his grandchildren, Kristina Denman (Keith), Jason Calabrese (Jill), Dr. Jennifer Speakman (George), Eric France (Stacy), Michael France (Camille) and Marla Currie (Craig); and his great grandchildren, Cole, Ellie, Brody Denman, Brianna, Braelyn, Brynn Speakman, Emma, Jacob Calabrese and Kiva France. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
