She was predeceased by: her parents, Almerin Turner and Eva Turner (Funk); her husband Bill Hopes; her siblings, Edward, Raymond, Robert Turner and Lena McGeary; and her uncle Raymond C. "Unc" Turner.
She is survived by: her daughter Vicki Lynn Gargas (David) of Champion; her great grandchildren, Paul Gargas, Chad Dowell of Atlanta, GA, Mark and Christinia; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Hare and Virginia Simonson.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Orwell United Methodist Church (80 S. Main Street, Orwell, OH 44076). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at the Orwell North Cemetery.
