He was predeceased by: his parents, William Armstrong and Mary Ellen Armstrong. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Armstrong (Buday); his children, Karen Gallivan of Akron, Christopher (Kathleen) of Rocky River and Matthew (Alyson) of Mayfield Village; his grandchildren, Sarah, Benjamin, Vivien Armstrong, Merrill, Chelsea Konst, Connor Gallivan, Gavin Keller and Seth Ferance; his great grandchild Luca Tripodo; and his brothers, Richard (Debi) of Florida and Gary Armstrong (Cindi) of Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44110-9915.
