With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen M. Housel Bassin in Windsor, Ohio, who passed away on March 4, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Fike and Mary Louise Skinner Fike; and her siblings, Vernon Fike, Yvonne Folan and Ruth Ann Hall.
She is survived by: her son Keith Housel (Christine) of Cortland, OH; her grandchildren, Kelly O'Malley (Edward) of Shalersville, OH, Karla Housel (Dave) of Olmsted Falls, OH., Brandon Housel, Jessica Housel, Tyler O'Malley (Sarah) and Trent O'Malley; and her great grandchildren, Caleb and Paisley.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home (533 N Park Ave, Warren, OH 44481). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Champion Township Cemetery (149 Center St E, Warren, OH 44481).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any contributions be made to Alzheimer's Association, in her memory.
