She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Blase and Dorothea Blase; her husband Stanley Waitt Raffety; her sisters, Ruth Gast (Hamilton) and Jeanne Grimm (Albert); her sister-in-law Charlotte Kizer (James); and her nephew Eric Grimm.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lynn Kennedy (Kevin) of Virginia Beach, Susan Jackson (David) of Bloomington, Patricia "Pat" Raffety of Poland and Amy Richards of Akron, Ohio. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
